Was anyone a fan of the tv series WITCHBLADE ?

I think I adored Yancy Butler. I just found a whole bunch of episodes on Youtube. I remember waiting for the DVD to come out. Not sure if it ever did..



Some where in storage I had a collection of the Witch Blade collector cards, and on my computer
is a little animation I can activate of Sara "Pez" Pezzini on a motorcycle which will roar across my screen. She can also activate the witchblade! I can't believe I still have that..



The Japanese Anime was pretty cool too. I also had a collection of the Top Cow comics...

3. Hubby and I enjoyed it. We were disappointed when it was dropped.
Did a fast check. It is out on DVD; Amazon has it for sale and Netflix for rent, but unfortunately it's not streamed. Hulu has the anime.

Guess I will have to grab it from Amazon! I loved the series, and was sad when TNT dropped it. The fans were not too happy either, and it never got picked up, liked we hoped.

My sons (15&17) just recently got into Anime, mostly Sailor Moon, Holic (?), Cardcaptor Sakura and Death Note.
Any recommendations?

They love reading book series, any good manga series I can introduce to them?
I don't mind if it's a little R rated, they're teenagers not little kids.

I remember hearing about one about a high school for animals and a girl who went there but wasn't really an animal.

Just to note, most Anime series are about 24 episodes long. When I used to buy DVDs some had around four episodes each on a disk. Some Anime were shorter, others like; Bleach, Naruto, and Inuyasha have no limits and are still going! One of my favorite anime was FLCL or Furi Kuri (fooly cooly) and its
very short! Only four or five episodes! Its also one of the most unique anime's you will ever see!
