DF was good, but half the album consists of Yoko's songs.

I voted for "Shaved Fish" in a previous poll, so this one goes to Sir Paul's great 1982 effort, Tug OF War, 'Ebony and Ivory' be damned!

McCartney II isn't bad. It's wierd. All synthesizers. Electronic McCartney.

2. McCartney's "one man band" stuff is all interesting.
Meaning "Wild Honey Pie," "Why Don't We Do It In The Road" and the albums "McCartney" and "McCartney II" (and some other Beatles songs I'm forgetting). It's something he clearly loves to do, and it's clear he picked up the studio "moves" from George Martin and enjoys home studio stuff in a way Lennon never did. (Lennon's demos are all mono cassette recordings.)

Double Fantasy would be a great record if not for the thoroughly dreadful Ono material. That woman should never be anywhere near a piece of vinyl or a microphone. Love is blind; look at horse-faced Sofia Coppola as the love interest in Godfather III.
