had to bring Buddy Guy back from the park
He had an incident with a rottwieler ..two massive dogs facing off.

Buddy Guy gave one of those down in the chest growls but it was unlike anything I have ever heard before..it was like the shepperd half growled with the size of the bernard.

THIS is why you dont let dogs run free in dog parks unless you are SURE they are safe..keep them on a leash..Buddy was in his harness and the rot was free and charged not just him but me too..i guess Buddy was protecting me as much as defending himself.

The rot's owner was apologetic and asked about Buddy's harness and swears he will harness him...we will see

Just pisses me off...Buddy has his regulars he associates with and never got the chance to play over one stupid owner.

LEASH your dogs when in a dog park if you arent sure they can play nice.I trust Buddy to play nice and still keep him harnessed until us regulars can get in a corner alone to let ours play together. One of my new friends I met there plays frisbee with the dogs..Buddy is THE WORST at catching a frisbee...he sucks at it :)..my buddy has a border collie who can do a dance while catching a frisbee while strutting for the females..he is the frisbee king and knows it :)

Oh..and Buddy struts when he is in the park :)

Keep your dogs safe folks..please

Mine's kind of a wimp, and 12 now. Lost two others the past two years; both at 15.

I have a 155 lb dog in a harness facing a dog that probably went 100 plus that was being aggressive ..and then THAT GROWL..Buddy gave a growl I have never heard before..the rot stopped dead in its tracks ..it was a pure bad intention growl and the rot knew it.

Scary as hell

7. Sounds like an "extra tweat" moment to me.
Give Buddy an extra one for me.

Where would we be without our dogs? First animal ever domesticated, and I think they domesticated us, about 100,000 years ago.

Buddy gave the most evil growl I ever heard and the rot stopped dead.

10. He is a baby
today was the first time I ever heard him give a Real Growl(tm)

He scared me more than the rot did..I was scared for it.I never heard a growl like that.EVERY hair on his neck stood and he was an evil sound..he scared me when I heard the potential in his voice.

He was always under control but DAYUM..that was one evil sound

11. Our dog Buddy loves everyone -- except when he is guarding our house.
He takes his job very seriously.

12. My Buddy is pretty Low Key
That's what freaked me today..he issued a growl I have never heard from anything before..it was pure evil.It came from deep in his chest and that rot stopped dead when he heard it.

That rot stopped dead in its tracks when he issued that growl.

I like it..it was something I hope to never hear again but like that I know he will defend himself and me.
