Lounge cooks, I need help with a recipe substitution
This looks simply amazing but if I don't have that fancy squash coring tool could I use a hole saw instead?

2. A couple of thoughts.
Looks like an easy tool to make. Maybe from say 1/2" copper tubing from
the hardware store. I Could probably make a tool like that in
under a hour.

Another thought is to slice it down the middle. Scrape out the seeds with
a spoon and tie the halves back together with butchers twine. The butcher
at the supermarket will give you some. Or hold the halves together with
tooth picks.

Good luck.

3. You could buy a squash coring tool for $5.25
Here's the website where you could buy it: http://www.alhannah.com/gift.html

5. You could try using an M-80 or a 20-gauge shotgun.
Warning: you MIGHT not get a clean hole with either technique.

7. That might work on an apple.
But it looks like a 410 bore would be best for squash.
