Wha?!?

Got an error on one of our systems today.

The error read as follows: Error#114, exception

I had no clue what was causing the error. So I went to the vendor's documentation. They had published a 432 page document on the software. The index told me that there was a section consisting of 58 pages of "error codes, causes and solutions".

I found the error in the list. Here is what it said...
Error: 114
Cause: An exception has occured (well... No shit?)
Solution: Find the cause of the exception and resolve. (WTF?)

Somebody got paid to write that manual.
