I didn't today, but I thought about it. I have more weed on hand than I normally do because I went to two house shows in a role and bummed some but never ended up using it.
4. In high school I played my guitar in the contmporary services and showed up at rehearsals high often
I don't think I showed up for the services high, but one of the choir members was a cop and always knew when I was high at rehearsals. He'd glare at me fiercely. When some of the band's equipment was stolen, they thought I was involved. I don't blame them though.
I've attended chapel services many times while drunk or chemically impaired from legal substances.
One memorable experience involves being wasted and speaking in chapel in front of several thousand people while fulfilling one of my student government responsibilities.
Another memorable experience involved a classmate who arrived drunk for a 7 am class. It was obvious and he couldn't keep his mouth shut. The prof didn't report him or get him in any kind of trouble whatsoever. Instead he used the lecture to bait the poor guy and keep him talking and asking questions. Very entertaining.
I'm a once-a-year Catholic, and my mom begged me to attend church with her this past christmas eve. It was a 6 o'clock mass. My mother informed me that she would request my presence at 5:30.
At 5:10 I'd taken 160mg of oxycontin and slapped on a fentanyl patch.
Suffice it to say, I was a little too yakked out to pay attention to the homily...
I spent many years doing christmas eve at a friends house. His sister insisted we all go to midnight mass and my buddy and I would always smoke a fattie on the way over.
