vaguely. Didn't watch it but a couple of times, I think.

Can't remember if it was the Mountie - or the DOG - that makes me 'member it! :rofl:

Benton Fraser (Paul Gross) the Mountie
Ray Vecchio (David Marciano) the Chicago Cop
Diefenbaker was named after former Prime Minister of Canada John George Diefenbaker.

3. Yes!
It was one of my favorites to watch when it was on. And, Benton Fraser is one of my all-time favorite TV characters, and any series that gave Leslie Nielsen a spot in it is A-okay with me.

I don't recall much about it anymore, but I know that I was probably the only person in three states watching it.

6. Loved it. But didn't watch it regularly. Loved Paul Gross. Written by Paul Haggis who later
won an oscar for "Crash". Great writing.
