Boy am I in trouble now!
I took my cats to the vet today for shots and exams. Patrick took it pretty well, but Brigid got so upset she wet all over herself. So not only did she have to go to the vet, she had to get a bath when we got home. She is now hiding under my bed. I dom't think she will ever forgive me. :scared:

1. An unforgiving cat
is very scary, indeed.

Many years ago, I had a cat who figured out how to open the refrigerator door. I came home from work and found a package of hot dogs scattered all over the kitchen floor, with one bite out of each. I began putting a chair against the refrigerator when I left for work. Every night, she would wait until I sat down someplace where I could see the litter box. Then she would climb in, hang her backside over the edge, and deposit a steaming load on the floor. She finished by scratching the litter out of the box onto the pile, while glaring at me. She was named "Eve of Destruction" for a reason.

2. I think I can top that.
Years ago, I had a co-worker who told me this one: He once had a Persian cat. The cat decided it didn't like my co-worker's new roommate. I have a feeling the antagonism was mutual. One day the roommate called my co-worker at work and said, "You have ten minutes to come home and get this cat before I kill it!" The cat had just dropped a steaming load all over the roommate's pillow. Cats can be vindictive little critters indeed.

3. I once had plans to go out of town for the weekend. At the last moment I could not find
my cat Monster who was outside. So I had to leave some food outside and hope he was okay. I went home early to check on him and sure enough he had left a steaming pile on the railing of my front door - just a short note to say "where the hell are you mum". LOL!

4. She'll get over it
After 5 days in a car when we moved halfway up the Eastern Seaboard (not including 3 days in a motel after my car caught on fire), she had an accident 10 minutes from our new home. So the first thing that happened to her when the car stopped moving was getting tossed in a bathtub and scrubbed. (I didn't even stop to kiss my husband, who I hadn't seen in a month.) She forgave me once she dried off.
