Well, here I am, still fumbling with the son's phone...

The boys ran.up to Phx to snag a junker compiter from my sister so I could maybe test the stupid modems or maybe just use for a while intil.I can swing the bucks for a new one. Unfortunatly, her SO erased the whole hard dribe AND the cd reader is dead. I do have a spare, and I have tne recovery discs for mine. But of course it didn't have a dialup modem eitjer. So tje scientist in me.is not happy with having to run tests with tne possibly compromised modems I have.

I did get a non-CRT monitor out of the deal.:woohoo: :bounce: :party: :eyes:

During this shit I ordered a wireless dohickey from verizon. Guy assured me I had a 14 day "worry-free" trial period. Even.made me listen to a prerecorded spiel about it and getting socked for canceling the pocontract after. Not mentionrd was the 35 fucking dollar ream, er I mean restocking fee. Assholes. Tnat was a greater than 50% fee. Evil wallyworld didnt charge a dime to take baxk tne little electronic tning I got from tnem.:mad:
