. It's the truth. I think it was 86 here in Chicago today. Sorry for that answer. I figure this is the lounge and I can be a little honest.

12. Upper 90's today.
Weather radio never got around to the hourly stats with all the storm info they were broadcasting.

Wonderful innovation, that National Weather Service. Hard to believer the Teabaggers want to shut it down and make us all subscribe to AccuJackWeather...

16. In North Georgia, just northwest of Atlanta where I live,
my outside thermometer reads an even 80 degrees. That is a welcome relief from the middle to high 90s we have had in the past few months. And that is only because that storm in Louisiana is moving up, which will bring us some rain. Rain, I do not even know what it looks like any more. It's been so long since we had it. In fact, there have not even been any mosquitoes because it has been so dry.

21. I think compared to much of the east coast we seem to have fewer of them.
Like the DC area or Florida where I've lived, if you spend 10 minutes outside in the evening you come back in covered in welts.

I don't know if the fact it only rains a few times a year here has anything to do with it or what. I always assumed it was the elevation and non-swampy terrain.

24. Yes, I know all about the mosquitoes in Florida.
I lived there all my life until I moved to North Georgia in 1989. Not to mention the huge roaches (Palmetto bugs) and other pesky insects in Florida.
