NJ apartment rights for tenants

My wife rents an apartment in NJ during the week on a month-to-month basis which is basically a bedroom & bathroom in a townhouse. The owner of the townhouse has not been able to meet her mortgage payments, so she's been trying to do a short sale for well over a year, with zero luck.

However, yesterday the woman said that she's decided to let the bank foreclose on the townhouse and that my wife needs to vacate the premises in 48 hours. Now, I'm pretty sure that is not allowable under the law (30 or 60 day notice is probably required, I'm guessing), but I can't find the specifics under http://www.lsnjlaw.org/english/placeilive/irentmyhome/tenantsrights/index.cfm

Can somebody point me in the right direction?
