2. I am with you
I have seen Fargo and Raising Arizona and Millers Crossing many many times. Lebowski was fun enough the first time but not interesting enough to see again.

Apparently NOT, or you'd be posting about how ASTOUNDING the movie is.

Seriously. I don't think I made it halfway through the first time I watched it.

Last year, after reading the Bridges interview in Rolling Stone, I figured "What the hell" and gave it a second chance.

And you know what I found out?

It is ASTOUNDING.

I saw that one in the theater and I must have been distracted (possibly by my date) or in the wrong frame of mind because I wasn't impressed. Watched it on video a few years later and laughed my ass off. Now it just gets better with each viewing.

10. I've seen it about half a dozen times, and every time I watch it I think "Why did I bother again?"
How many times do I have to get this movie before I'm allowed to say that I don't think it's all that great?

11. I bailed out on it the first couple times I tried watching it. Then I started to get it.
It sneaks up on you. I think for new viewers it would help to read a little about it first because first impressions might leave you thinking this is just a bunch of actors going for 'odd' performances.
