Has anyone seen the new Kevin Smith film?
It is entitled "Jersey Girl"

Being a Jersey native who rented videos and purchased candy from Mr. Smith during his actual tenure at Quick Stop and RST video before his film-making career took off, I am a fan of his work.

Well, most of it anyway. I didn't like Jay and Silent Bob Strike back much. It had some moments, but was pretty weak overall.

Anyway, "Jersey Girl" is his first film outside of his regular cast of characters and the previews for it seem overly saccharine.

I'd like to hear opinions of those who have seen it. Thanks!

1. Saw it and loved it!
Mrs. Catch22Dem also loved it. I don't cry easily, but I cried several times during that movie. A couple of scenes will yank your heart out of your chest and shit all over it. It also has seriously funny moments too. Overall, just a really good movie.
