I dare not post this in GD but I got a huge laugh out of a local OWS report.

It was really Occupy Seattle, but on last night's news the anchor led in to the on-the-scene reporter with something like "The mayor announced today that beginning tomorrow, protestors will be arrested for pinching tits...PITCHING TENTS in Westlake Park." FOrtunately the cut to the scene was quick. I imagine him face down on the desk afterward.

I figured GD would yell at me for undermining something.

In other news, a good friend, an old activist in his 70s, (an MD by the way) was down there yesterday and said there were lots of folks his age and older gathering and singing old protest songs, and that he hadn't felt anything like it in a long time. Gives me real hope.
