I got to see my childhood flash before me on the TV
A girl had released a video of her father beating the crap out of her using a belt. The only difference is my father made me take off my pants. And they were debating if this was abuse or not? No question in my mind. I lived it until I ran away at 13. Luckily I had somewhere to go.

The bastard is a family court judge. Uh uh, not okay. Not for video girl and not for me. Get rid of the guy. He's a fucker.

1. Sorry that you suffered abuse
I haven't seen the video, but believe what you are describing to be abuse and it serves the abuser, it does not serve as a form of discipline. I wonder how good of a judge the guy would be. Do you have a link to the video/story?

(or herself) from 'this is going to hurt me a lot more than it is going to hurt you'.

To me, the choice of a belt is proof that damage is the desire, not punishment or redirection.
