Oh noes!!!111!!! I ruined it!
I went to the house to add another layer of paint to youngergreenkid's bedroom. It looked fine at first when I put it on, but by the afternoon it was much, much darker! I looked at the can and realized the store had given me a gallon of the darkest shade of green on the sample card, not the medium one the kiddo wants. x(

*sigh* I don't really have the time to repaint the room again, but of course I will anyway.

1. My dear GreenPartyVoter...
Oh, I'm sorry to hear it...

Why don't you ask your son if this color is OK? Maybe he'll like it...

And you know you didn't ruin it... It'll be OK, it can be changed, or something...

It IS a pain in the neck, however!

2. Oh, he really loves that soft soothing green. This is much more like a deep Hunter. He

definitely wants his old color back

Ironically, I also painted the dining room wall this color, again thinking that it was green tea, not thyme. I'm not repainting that one! It looks all right, anyhow. A nice contrast to the sage. Now all I need are parsley and rosemary!

3. Too late words to the wise. Always dab some paint on the sample card, let it dry, make sure...
it matches.

Re-painting is a pain, brighter lights/different accent colors?

4. It's a small room. Won't take too long to redo. He has his heart set on it so there's
no getting around it.

Good tip on the paint card. Will have to remember that! :hi:
