It's all over.

Everyone left a short while ago.
Just had in some other 'strays', friends in the neighborhood with no local family. They each brought side dishes, which were good with the exception of the green bean casserole.
Bless her heart, she made it from scratch and the beans were a bit 'al dente' for my taste. I told her they were great.
:shrug:

Leftovers are put away and all the 'dirties' in the dishwasher.
And I am enjoying a LARGE Scotch and water.

The dry brined turkey was fantastic.
Not at all salty, but very tender and juicy, with crispy skin.

Two of my sisters, my Mom, my sister's daughter, her husband and four daughters were there.

Good food, no argument, and had a blast watching the Lions lose! :-)

I got to see my family for the first time in about five months. And other than missing a certain very sweet guy, it was a nice day.
