Don't throw your food away but don't do this!
I am reading food saver links and came across this one:

simple changes to save bucks -- I can't even say it -- Spaghetti Fritatta?

I know it's bad to throw away food, and I am not opposed to leftover spaghetti noodles, either, provided they didn't accidentally get overcooked by the time I would be eating them again.

Still reading, hoping to see some pointers I can use ...

1. I could see doing that, but I think I'd rather freeze the noodles for another day.

3. That's what I do.
In fact, when it comes to cooking certain things like brown rice, pasta and dried beans, I freeze portions of it. It saves time as well as money,

2. These are so good, I have made a practice of making extra ...
... spaghetti, just so I can make one of these the next day.

5. It looks nasty to me, but if you say it tastes good
I guess I believe you.

4. Mix the leftover pasta and sauce and put them in a casserole dish (with extra sauce if needed)
Then bake it at 350 (covered) to make a nice "lasagna-like" dish you can cut into cubes to serve and/or nuke.

6. Hmmm, I prefer to stir-fry my leftover noodles with some fresh onions,
garlic,carrots and celery....Lo Mein anyone?

You can add chicken or other meat if you eat it.

7. I love leftover spaghetti -- I pan fry it with some olive oil
It's great that way. I especially like it when I have made the pasta the first night with no red sauce, but with artichokes and fresh basil and sun dried tomatoes and garlic and lots of parm.

8. This can be good. You need to make sure there is enough sauce and add cheese
I couldn't see the recipe at the link but I know the one I have does not include enough sauce.

9. Just had some of the penne frittata I made last Friday with Thursday's leftover pasta.

Yum!
