what's the point of modding the old DU?
Is it because they are image conscious? Is the veneer of civilization that thin among DUers?

I'm over at DU3 a lot but I still come here and, because of people like you, its a real pleasure.

Horrible shame that mods got the boot at the new DU. And it's pretty evident there how well they did considering the new system.

I always did appreciate how well the mods worked here especially being volunteers. After seeing what the jury system is like it only makes me appreciate them all the more.

I hope you all feel vindicated by that for all the abuse you put up with over the years.

As long as there are members still posting here, we feel like we're still needed. We're doing what we always have done to keep this place safe and user friendly for everyone who's still here. :) :hi:

i made a friend
skip and cbayer and others i cannot remember right now
the new du shows what you guys did so well
so smoothly
so diplomaticly
you are all so deserving of our thanks
thank you all
thanks for allowing me to have a place where i could ask questions AND get answers
where i could find out about the small things that go on around us and even from far away help to make a change
there will never be anything like DU ever again....now i made myself sad
