Apprentice Fans: 8 women down to 1; Is sexism responsible?
I find it funny that the once unstoppable women are now down to 1. The guys surely would have kept losing had it not been for the merge. From that point on, only women were fired until last week. What gives?

1. who cares?
Reality TV and Trump can both jump off a bridge. Its all garbage, why rot your brain with it?

Its probably not sexism (but it could be) most likely its just greed vs percieved weakness, isn't that the point of Trump's show? To 'teach' people how to be soulless greed-sucking jerks?

5. I only recently figured out why people like those shows
When we were visting my wife's sister I was forced into watching survivor (even worse - without tivo!). God, those shows suck. Why would anyone want to watch them fake relationships and then backstab eachother?

Then it hit me - that's what people's lives are like. Office politics, in groups, out groups, rumormongering... ack. It's like junior high all over again.

I feel sorry for people whose lives are like that.

6. I'm right there with you...
After the Super Bowl a few years ago, they ran Survivor 2's first episode. My wife and I gave it a shot to see what all the hullabaloo was about... We got sucked in to the petty BS of that show. When it was over, we vowed to never, ever, watch that garbage again.

Its a lot like cops only w/out the drunken white-trash waving pool sticks around... but its the exact same sick voyeuristic activity.

2. I wondered about that too.
I found it odd that they would swap team members after the women's team won the first four competitions. Guess they didn't want it to become predictable.

That aside, after the teams became mixed gender I was surprised that they only fired women for six? weeks in a row. United they won, but divided they got fired. Odd to say the least.

3. the sad part
Is that the women were the biggest perpetuators of sexism on the show--they kept bringing other women into the boardroom even when the men did a worse job!

4. The women killed themselves
For 4 weeks, the women were invincible. They used sex, charm, luck to beat the boys again and again. Then something happened. . .the genders were mixed, and the women fell apart.

Week 5: Kristi chooses Omarosa and Heidi (Kristi fired)
Week 6: Omarosa chooses Heidi and Jessie (Jessie fired)
Week 7: Katrina chooses Tammy and Bill but blames Tammy (tammy fired)

For three weeks, the girls tear each other apart. The lesson learned by the women "What teamwork?". While the men became strong and hungry and lean, the girls became fat and crabby.

Week 8: Ereka choose Bill and Nick and is tossed because she let her friendship with katrina prevent her from picking her

Week 9: Kwame choose Omarosa and Heidi (Omarosa fired)

Week 10: Troy choose Heidi and she is gone

For the next 3 weeks, the men continue to remember their original alliances and pick the women off one by one. The women, meanwhile, do little to prove they are top contenders. The last three tossed deserved to go!

Week 11: Amy picks Katrina who says Amy played the Love card as an excuse why Katrina should stay.

The last women remaining in the boardroom. Why? Because the men used sex too--but they saved it to win the war, not the battles.

7. Board to Trump: "You're Fired !!!"
Funny how Trump is judging these people on how well they do when He has done such a poor job of managing his casinos that he is hundreds of millions in debt and has to step down as a condition of getting a loan to bail out the business.

(Top that for a run-on sentence. Ha!)
:wtf:
