Friend I live in a desert, I LOOOOVE the rain.
Kids around here play like crazy in the rain, (So do old moms, some one has to teach them how to make leaf rafts to float down the gutters.)
Beware the arroyos.:bounce:

2. It's one of those slow rains
Kinda dreary outside, just makes me wanna lounge around all day...

I never thought about the people in the desert, but I'm sure you guys would really look forward to a rain. :D

7. We've been 23 days now with no rain
March was our dryest since 1908. Rain is forecast for the afternoon and I'm praying for it.

Thanks for the memory of Jose Feliciano. I loved that song!
