I refer to it as the The Proselytizer Complex. People that need to deal with those internal nagging questions that someone either cannot or will not acknowledge or deal with directly. When they see others who are different from them, they are reminded, however unconsciously, of the internal anxiety, and they want the world to stop reminding him that they are unsure. So they project their internal conflict onto those different from themselves, and sets about trying to convert them.
If only the world would just shut up and validate them. Of course, the project of converting the world is an endless task, making it a perfect form of denial. Since you can never convert everyone, you will never have to confront the internal conflict that is fueling the need to share the news.
