I love taxes!!!!!!!!!!!
Move this to GD if need be.

In the olden days, the peasants paid taxes to the king. The King took the money so he and his chosen babe and offspring could live in luxury while his subjects toiled.

Today, taxes go to many services that directly benefit many people (and to pay off a gigantic debt that careless traitors created, and we know who they are). I find it revolting that the repukes make so many claims that belong in 12th century England, especially when we as a country need to get back on our own too feet. Especially those who get the most from us. For they are the NEW kings, with the whole world toiling for them and leaving some of their own to rot even more painfully as well.

2. Two percent...
But I agree, government spending should NOT go overboard either.

Of course, taxes will have to go up to pay for the extra interest that shrubbypants'* extra spending will accrue, not to forget his war of choice (gawd, despite the hard evidence that proves Iraq has nothing to do with the war on terror, some repukes still want to believe it to be true... frigging nutcases)...

3. I am with you!!!
"taxes are the price we pay for a civilized society"...

Think about the nations that have very little or no taxes or ability to collect them...would anyone here really want to live there????

the roads, the schools, the police, the assistance for the poor...that is what I don't mind paying for...I don't like paying halliburton though...

4. None of us should be...
Especially not when the repukes make outrageous claims that people should not need government help. (uh, then why do big corporations with billion$ get lots of help all the time?!)

Two faced hypocritical traitors.
