9-year-old arrested for stealing bunny
NEW PORT RICHEY, Florida (AP) -- A 9-year-old girl accused of stealing a rabbit and $10 from a neighbor's home was arrested, handcuffed and questioned at a police station.

A Pasco County sheriff's deputy found the black-and-white rabbit, named Oreo, hopping around in the girl's living room, according to the arrest report. She was read her rights and taken away in the back of a patrol car.

The girl began to cry during questioning Tuesday. She admitted taking the rabbit belonging to another child, but denied taking two $5 bills and some change, according to reports.

I couldn't bring myself to click on the link and read the entire story, but I hope she had a parent present for questioning.

Remember when parents took care of stuff like this?

6. I'm guilty of a very similar act....
At the age of 3 some people that lived near us had promised me I could have a rabbit - they raised them. One day while I was supposed to be napping I decided it was time to get my rabbit. I snuck out of the house, walked to their farm (about 1/2 mile away)went into the barn and picked myself out a bunny. I then proceeded to bring the bunny home. When I walked into the house with the bunny my Aunt who was babysitting us almost had a heart attack.

They made me give the bunny back. My poor aunt went into labor that night (I think I was just too much for her). Luckily I was never arrested.
