Wounded in battle (Hand to glass combat that is)

Once I was walking down the side of a house after loosing a fight with a bottle of Jameson. I didn't see the two foot drop off.....wham dropped straight down and cut my arm arm bad, luckly I was so drunk I didn't feel pain.

1. Not me but.......

years ago at a Greatful Dead concert my buddy was up on a light tower drinking a Bud in a bottle. So drunk he fell and cut the hell out of his hand, wrist and arm. I asked why he didn't drop or throw the bottle, "just opened it". Off to the hospital.

Walking around the side of the house

"down the side" is Vancouver slang I guess....we have so many mountains here most house have a backyard higher than the front...consequently instead of over or around, it's up or down.
