Attention golf fans
Who are you pulling for in The Masters?

Me, I've always been a fan of Jose Olazabal, I'm sure the CU trolls will say rooting for someone not American makes me a commie rat bassid but thats OK. I would like to see Phil win his first Masters, that would rock and make me less of a commie rat bassid. Lets see who you guys like in The Masters.

3. I never
liked him much either. Don't know why maybe he doesn't have a good golf persona. I forgot to mention Justin Leonard, he's a pretty good guy. I would say anyone but that guy in the Ryder Cup a few years back who wanted to be paid, he's an asshole.

5. I read an article in SI about Singh.
Apparently, he is extremely generous with his time to his fellow golfers. A lot of them really like him. So, maybe it's just his public persona, and the fact that he is prickly with the media that gets him SOME of his bad rap.

He really put his foot in his mouth about Annika though.

9. I didn't hear about
the Annika thing. I would love to see her at The Masters. That would rock big time.

4. As long
as its not that racist prick who made the "watermelon and fried chicken" chicken joke when Tiger won his first. I forget his name.

6. Fuzzy Zoeller.
And, although it was a moronic thing to say, I don't believe there was intent there. I think he was just attempting to be funny. It failed. He missed the cut anyway. He plays on the over 50 tour.

8. They just said
Ray Floyd is gonna miss the cut by one. Didn't he once yell at a fan to "shut up" ala Bill O'Lielly?

10. Justin Rose
is my pick.
As long as Singh doesn't win, I'm fine. I have never liked his persona (disclaimer: I don't know him, only judging him based on what I have seen on the course and in the media)

Freddy Couples would be great too, he is a standup guy!

And my condolences goes to Bruce Edwards family and to Tom Watson.

11. I Can't believe Weir didn't make the cut
Or Daly. Mike Weir won last year and is the guy that puts the jacket on this year's winner.

Wow, bad day I guess

17. ABP
Anybody but Phil. Would love to see Ernie. I can't stand Phil Went to the GHO Pro-Am -- he was the only one who would not sign autographs until the 18th hole. Davis was great (but now that I know he donates $$$ to Shrub, I can't support him).

I've always had a soft spot for the guy . . . beautiful swing, but he doesn't let golf rule his life. He knows what's important in life and keeps the right perspective.

19. I need Olazabal to make up for my Adam Scott fiasco
I bet golf matchups every week, one-on-one. For the Masters I annually throw away cash on a couple of longshots to win the tournament. This year my primary laydown was on Adam Scott at 45-1, but I also took Olazabal at 50-1 for $100. Ole, ole, ole, ole!

Right now I'm 3-3 in matchups decided at the cut, but behind moneywise thanks to the Adam Scott blunder. If Olazabal hangs on in his matchups I should be OK. Even minus the wagering aspect, I'm an Olazabal fan and think it would be great if he added a third green jacket. That's rarified Augusta air, matched only by Tiger and Faldo recently.

I loved the way Olazabal teamed with Seve in those fiery Rider Cup pairings throughout the '80s and '90s. And when I attended the British Open a couple of times he seemed like a really good guy, signing autographs and smiling warmly when fans asked to have their pictures taken with him.

It would not be bad if Tiger won once again.
