I Just Read "Green Eggs And Ham" By Dr. Seuss.
That "Sam I Am" fellow should have won the Newberry Award.

I mean... the way he persisted. The way he would not be deterred from getting that guy to try green eggs and ham. It was inspiring.

1. I would not eat it in a house
I would not eat it with a mouse
I would not eat it here or there
I would not eat it anywhere!
I do not like green eggs and ham
I do not like them, Sam-I-Am!

2. A bit late for Dr Seuss, Arwalden?
I used to get a kick of Dr Seuss' stuff when I was a kid.

6. Oh No... It's Not My FIRST Time... I'm Just Re-Reading A Few Oldies...
I mean... after all... we re-watch favorite DVD's, right? Why can't we re-read some of our old favorite books?

3. During my brief stint as a stand-up comic...

...I turned "Green Eggs and Ham" into a rap. Kept the words the same, just gave 'em a hip-hop beat. And it worked!

11. YES!!!!
Just remembering that as I read through the thread. It was such a fitting tribute to the late author. If I remember correctly, it was on the Saturday after he passed away.

Definitely subtle. Too subtle, perhaps.

16. As much as I respect Dr. Seuss
As someone named Sam, you can't imagine how many people call me Sam-I-Am as if they were the first person to ever make the connection.

Kinda ruined the book for me.
