12. big family gathering at Olive Garden

several birthdays, pre-Easter thing, and my brother's new girlfriend got to meet all of us at once. Fortunately she's cool and a Democrat. I don't know how anyone in my family could date a Republican. It would be hard since my family is very political and there is rarely a meal without political ranting about the idiocy of the rightwing. I had Med. Shrimp Scampi. Hubby had a chicken artichoke dish. We also had mussels and calamari and lots of sangria. It was fun!
