Tree experts-what type of tree is this?
I am south of Nashville and spring has arrived. I have noticed a bunch of Dogwood trees with white flowers on them. There are an equal number of trees with light purple/dark pink flowers blooming. Anybody know what they are?

4. Too little info...
but in some areas, pink dogwoods are as common as white ones. The flowers are light pink, though. At least ours are.

Around here, people have dug up all the pink ones in the woods and planted them at home. Only white ones in the woods now.
