Poll Monitors needed in CO, FL, OH, and NM on Nov. 2

I'm going to be an poll monitor for Election Protection in Colorado. Today they sent me this email saying they needed more volunteers to monitor in key states.

If you're interested and able to do it, here's what they sent me to pass along to you:

Key states need you!

Join me and thousands of other citizens who want to make sure that every registered voter is allowed to vote and that every vote counts. We all remember what happened during the 2000 election and we need to make sure it doesn’t happen again. The Election Protection partnership needs your help – especially in Florida, Ohio, Colorado and New Mexico.

1. I may be able to go to Florida

I visited the website and if I can get off work I'll volunteer in Florida or anywhere else (I'm sitting on a $400 airfare voucher from Delta for getting bumped from a flight a few months ago!). Thanks for posting this!

(No, not globalized colonial empire, the other American Way: realizing democracy in the United States and not thinking we have to impose it on the rest of the world.) :)
