Everyone who likes Dennis Kucinich's ideas, please CONTRIBUTE $5.00!!
WE NEED TO KEEP HIM IN THE RACE TO GET HIS IDEAS OUT TO THE PUBLIC AND DEMOCRATIC VOTERS.

Even if he doesn't win the nomination, we need many of his ideas in the DEMOCRATIC PLATFORM.

Keeping his profile high would mean he could get a prime job in the new Democratic administration: say Secretary of State, or Ambassador to the United Nations, or head of a cabinet Department of Peace...

Post here if you agree!!

2. I am walking over to DK's national headquarters today
It is just a few blocks from my house, near an old restaurant Kucinich ate breakfast at every morning while mayor. (that wonderful landmark restaurant was torn down to make way for a CVS drug store. What's up with all of those drug stores tearing up the cities, anyways?)

The place has been empty lately. If there's noone there I am going to stuff a check under the door.

4. OK
If there is someone there I will. Are you a Cleveland resident, too? Funny, I am planning on moving to Horry County south Carolina in a few weeks and want to volunteer for Dennis there. There is s group of people who are losing jobs to NAFTA who ned to hear about Dennis. Last time I was down there was during the debate and the local news never reported it once- they were having a Strom Thurmond day at the Tobacco Warehouse.

5. I will..IF...
You can convince me. I've looked at his site and seen a few snippets of TV appearances. I respond to him personally, but I would love for someone familiar with his history and stances to give me a 30 second review! MY key issues are decrimilization of marijuana, health care, and education reform on all levels.

If I like what you have to say, I'll send $20.

HQ-looking for her candidate and the Greens are pissing her off!

8. Rakes Bush admin up one side and down the other for criminalizing
medical use of marijuana in states that allow it. Wants to end the drug war and make treatment available to everyone, instead of criminalizing everything.

Health care- see the site. This is one of his prime tenets: everyone should have good universal health care, one payer.

Education: all I found was quality full time education from age 3. Heard a speech in the House in which he excoriated repugs for reducing both the $ amount of Pell Grants and the number of Pell Grants, and said that people should be able to get gov't loans for tech school or college irregardless of whether they had been convicted of a drug violation.

I know this doesn't answer your questions. Best I can do at the moment, I have to go out!!:D

18. Decrim, Universal Health Care, Full Education through college
Kucinich's stands on these issues are thus:

1. Favors decriminalization.

2. Universal Health Care, single payer, no deductable. He would also create a federal pharmaceutical research and development facility that private drug companies would compete against.

3. Free public education through college.

To pay for his plans (although single payer health care would pay for itself by being cheaper than the ponzi scheme we're saddled with now), he would cut the Pentagon budget by about 15% by eliminating "star wars," banning space weaponry, unfunding some upcoming whiz-bang jet planes no one wants, and cutting bloat from the Pentagon budget.

Because he's clear about where the money is coming from, his plan does not mean "more government spending" but less, while creating a stable society, full education, and a more peaceful world for us and our descendants.

I'm a menace for Dennis!

7. Good idea!
Actually, I just sent him a contribution just before the June 30th cutoff. I'll send some more once I pay off the credit card I used.

I agree that we should keep Dennis's ideas as far out front as we can.

16. I do agree
and I've given no money thus far to any candidate. I want to see them prove themselves to me. I like Kucinich a lot. I also know he would never be elected. But I want to keep him in the race so that his message is heard, forcing the rest of them to also confront the issues at hand. BUSH LIED, PEOPLE DIED.

17. "I do agree"
I also think Dennis Kucinich is an important and viable part of the road to the White House. He brings passion, vision, courage, and truth to the platform. His speeches are inspirational, moving, and REAL AMERICA. Go Kucinich!

20. I'm sitting here sweltering in a non-air-conditioned house.
This is my Lent-type sacrifice for Dennis. This month it saved $25.00 for Dennis. When I saw him in Santa Fe, he was so much MORE than I expected, even though I had loved his policies. He would make a tremendous President. Then I would actually respect the office of the Presidency!!

21. I'm not sweltering.
My evaporative cooler doesn't cost like air conditioning, and it keeps me in the 80s indoors. Warm, but not miserable. I've donated twice, and am planning a third with the next paycheck coming in. A little here, a little there, and it all adds up.
