Fire Karl Rove Slogan Contest
We want to create the sort of buzz about Karl Rove you can see when you walk down the street. That's why we've launched a Fire Karl Rove Slogan Contest to figure out the slogan for a downloadable poster we'll send to all 3.5 million MoveOn members. Suggest your best idea for a good slogan or rate the slogans of other MoveOn members. The collective ratings of MoveOn members will decide the winner. Slogan writing and rating ends at 8:00 PM Eastern on Tuesday, August 2, 2005. We'll then have a professional graphic artist design the downloadable poster that is the right size to print on a desktop printer and e-mail to all 3.5 million MoveOn members (with credit in the e-mail to the slogan's author). If you're the winner, we'll send you a framed copy of your poster in full-color.

and the action forum format only lets you scroll "5" at a time. This is "hard work" ! Though, am enjoying this spirited and very patriotic festival of like minds :)

Yes, I registered and entered a couple slogans, but learned a trick before they cut me off at "you reached your daily limit of comments".

If you do enter, scroll down to your entry immediately to the Recent Comments box. Find your post, click on 'score' and bookmark that window. Otherwise, you'll never find it again.

Hope this helps, my max feedback has been 7 voters, not sure how these things get over 10k responses in a few short hours?? Not only do you get those 5 posts at a time visual, clicking off on the "agree/disagree/*star*rate by importance" on each...whew...the list of comments changes as you move forward !

Like I said, Hard Work, and wish MoveOn the best for this very progressive exercise. I'm just bored with their top choice as of now:
Karl Rove: The Voice of Treason. Um, he hasn't been indicted of the crime yet :shrug:

Great idea, but really concerned now about the effectiveness of MoveOn.org :dilemma: Definitely not user friendly! Not to mention, smacking down posts on the rating system seems so, um, political :snork:

Especially once I got on a roll with slogans, was told... you've reach your daily limit, try again tommorrow! Ergghhhh. I'll save my best stuff now for the next DU Admin t-shirt contest :)
