I believe that Anderson Cooper was one of the first to actually
be honest and actually report what is happening in New Orleans.
It is imperative that the MSM continue to tell the truth, if we want to get rid of Bush.

For the first time in 2 years, I am now turning the channel to CNN. I had given up on watching the news on television, including CNN, finding that it was nothing but entertainment, sound bites, and propaganda.

I saw you down there in the water, in New Orleans, you talked about the human suffering, the dead bodies, the starving animals, and you got my attention. You told the truth.

I kept CNN on almost all day. I am watching it today!

I urge you to continue to present the news in this objective and factual manner. If you do so, CNN will become the number one news channel in the US. I will be one of your biggest fans.

I turned off tv news a year ago and rely on Daily Show and online sources. But I have read here at DU and on other blogs about how Anderson was reporting truth on the ground and even turned on to watch a bit of him. Sent my letter thanking him and asking him to continue because now, more than ever, we need people like him in the media.
