Protest: U.S. Death Toll in Iraq Reaches 2,500
The war will end when people speak up.
By now it should be clear that the Senate and House will never take steps to stop the war.
The candidates that have been endorsed by both parties are not committed to stopping it.

Only people raising their voices will stop it.

Friday, June 16, 5:00 p.m. Sen. Norm Coleman's Office, 2550 University Avenue West (near the intersection of University Avenue and Highway 280), St. Paul. The U.S. forces death toll in Iraq has reached 2,500. Emergency response protests are set to take place across the U.S. to mark this milestone. In the Twin Cities, the protest will mark the deaths of the Iraqis (including those at Haditha) and the American troops lost in Iraq. Among the Twin Cities area organizations that are sponsoring the vigil are: Twin Cities Peace Campaign-Focus on Iraq, Women Against Military Madness, Anti-War Committee, Iraq Peace Action Coalition, Military Families Speak Out and others.
