Take Action: Wal-Mart Protest This Monday
I will be in Philadelphia on Monday at noon to protest WalMart. I need your support--please let me know if you can join me. Or better yet--hold your own in your hometown! We can have a real impact here if we get enough people out in support of small businesses and against lousy wages and conditions.

PROTEST: Buy Local, Picket Wal-Mart
12 noon Monday Dec 22nd
WalMart on Columbus Blvd in Philadelphia
please bring: Pickets, flyers, good spirits

We also need people to protest in Pittsburgh (JM?), though any Wal-Mart in any state will be a significant addition! Press is lined up for coverage--please pass this around.

I look forward to hearing from you!

1. How's your candidacy?

I hope you get lots of people. I just went one whole Christmas-present buying season without buying ONE THING at Walmart. Takes planning, but it can be done.

Edit: Whoops,are you charliecrystle?

3. Good Luck
I'm far from Philly, but good luck with your efforts. I stopped shopping at Wal-Mart when they bulldozed a Native American burial ground close to my house and built a new store on it (and, no, Archaeologists did not get to move the bodies or anything of the sort).

5. Hold on, I'm lost...
Aside from the obvious, what's the reason for the protest?
