1. Um, mind if we toss Tom Delay in there
I mean, let's face it - I'd like to see him go.

I actually wrote to my representative Mike Castle and asked him why the moderate side of the republican party won't try to take back control and bring normalcy to DC. I also mention that in the past I've never really actively helped campaign against him but I won't vote for him either. But if he doesn't finally stand up to these neo-cons running the show that I will get out there and do my darndest to get him out of office in 2004!

2. Okay this is war.
When I was gerrymandered out of Rep. Lois Capp's district into Rep. Bill Thomas's, I brought it up with my local Democratic Party Club we should do what we can to campaign for the Democratic candidate in the last election. There was lukewarm enthusiasm for this and instead I was steered toward campaigning for the local candidate for the California Assembly.

Even though this district is highly Repuke, there is a base of ordinary working class folks in this district that need to be rallied. I am going to badger my fellow Democrats in the club to make this happen.

6. I agree with you that this is too Nazi-like for comfortl
It reminds me of the putsch's of those times. Also, why try to ram this through on Friday before the weekend? Hitler was notorious for doing power grabbing plays on Saturdays after everyone in government had gone home for the weekend.

5. For 1st time in history Republicans called police to have Dems
removed from library in congress where they were meeting
to discuss pension bill which republicans wanted vote on
without letting dems look at bill, as usual.

Chairman of ways and means committee Republican Bill Thomas
called police three times to have them removed from library
lied nd said they were creating disturbance.

Its outrageous.

Charlie Rangel was there..said they have been doing this
to them, not letting them look at bills before demanding vote

Says this it. the dems aren't going to take it anymore.

This is what Hitler did in Nazi GErmany.

It' sjust not a joke.
