The Clock Is Ticking

If you have an Republican representative in Congress you must act now!

Call your local Democratic Committee office TODAY (or tomorrow if it is after hours)and find out if there is a Democrat running against him (or her). This is VERY IMPORTANT.

I don't know how it is in other states, but (from my understanding) in Florida, if someone wants to run for Congress, the candidate can either pay the $9,000 filing fee or collect 3500 signatures of registered voters from his/her district. The urgency is that (at least in Florida) the deadline for the signatures is in less than 2 weeks. Your Republican representative may run unopposed! :puke

So call your local Dem office and find out if there is anything you can do to make sure you have a choice come November!
