Demand that Karen Hughes Apologize!

Hope you all will join in Planned Parenthood's campaign...

"On April 25, presidential adviser Karen Hughes invoked the memory of 9/11 to defend President George W. Bush's anti-choice policies. When asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer about the impact of abortion rights in this year's campaign, Hughes replied, "I think after September 11th the American people are valuing life more...and I think those are the kind of policies the American people can support, particularly at a time when we're facing an enemy, and really the fundamental difference between us and the terror network we fight is that we value every life."

In fact, one fundamental difference between most Americans and the fundamentalist Muslims is that we support a woman's right to choose (and women's rights in general), and the fundamentalist Muslims don't... and neither does the tiny right wing band of extremists that Hughes represents.

1. Not only will she not apologize ...

she will continue to do so.

She's the admin's "loose cannon" - close enough to the WH to get the talking points but not overtly associated with them so they're without blame.

5. According to her, SHE NEVER SAID THAT!

Asked for her response yesterday, Hughes sent an e-mail saying, "That is a gross distortion and I would never make such a comparison."

6. I agree with you but.....

Apologies are given by people who have honor. Do we really expect that these people have any? Did McNabb expect an apology from Limbaugh? I don't sit around waiting for apologies, I just do what LITTLE I can to remove these people from office.

I mean..they're meaningless. If you want to right a wrong....do something about it...something meaningful and creative. Apologies are just words without any meaning in my humble opinion.
