Poll on the left, down the page.

13. Great results, but...
I have to agree (as much as it hurts) that this poll is majorly unscientific and overrun by us Dean supporters. It's fun to look at, though.

7. Again
Unscientific poll, with all of Deans suporters being directed to it, it sort of is the same as a FOX poll about suport for Bush

9. Hi Nick
It's comforting to see your name whenever the Dean people get too full of themselves. I just want to know when Dean cornered the market on bashing Bush. I'm pretty sure I've heard it from every candidate. Gosh, you can't be a Dem and not hate Bush.

3. it is a good article, but the press still misses the boat
most of his supporters know he is not a dye in the wool liberal in the Kucinich sense, but a mainstream Democrat who has some moderate positions (chiefly on the budget and economy) and liberal positions (on a wide array of social issues). Among many things we like about him is that he 1) isn't afraid to take on Bush and his record 2) he was against the war in Iraq and has never wavered even when polls were running strongly for it and 3) truly involves his supporters in his campaign and makes them feel that they are the ones responsible for what is happening.

4. Do "reporters" ever get anything right except the ones on the
Net?

I so don't even expect them to anymore. It's really sad that the investigative journalist has gone the way of the white buffalo. "It's now the corportate bottom line"

5. Dean
I did not appreciate the undertones of the article, which I thought inferred that Dean could not win once one or the other Democratic ideological groups finds out about his true leanings. I like Dean ; I have sent him money. But then what the heck . I'll love any democrat that can take Bush.

12. Favorite paragraph in this article
I was going to wait to read these articles off-line, just for a change of pace, but I peeked at this particular article. Overall, the same theme we've seen a lot lately about how Dean is riding a wave of popularity, but it remains to be seen if he will crash and burn or if he will continue to surprise everyone.

This is my favorite paragraph:
"The excitement factor alone could be enough to make minority Democrats take a look at the brusque New Englander. Dean shows no sign of peaking too early, says Donna Brazile, who was Al Gore's 2000 campaign manager and is one of her party's more effective minority organizers. "He's all that and a stick of gum. He's that hot. The flavor has not left him." She mentions a conversation with a prominent bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, the oldest African-American denomination. "I've seen all these cats, but I like Dean," the bishop told Brazile. "I've sent him money."

10. Please Read
"Total Votes Cast: 1356

NOTE: This is an unscientific, informal survey for the interest and enjoyment of TIME.com users and may not be indicative of popular opinion."

In otherwords, it is has no basis in FACT. This is like putting a poll up on the Dean Blog and asking which candidate they think will get the nomination. Please, old ladies, and the poor are not accessing the site. Try as Gallup poll, not a biased one.

11. Bully!
I think the Time article was pretty much on the mark.

On the whole, I think it will serve Dean well in coming months.

(although I would take issue with the writer calling hospital visitation rights a perk???)

Good read.

thanks
