A Reminder: Watch the AFL-CIO Presidential Forum Tuesday Night

August 4, 2003

Tomorrow night Tuesday August 5th, 2003
The nine Democratic Presidential Candidates
working to beat President Bush in next year's election
will join thousands of union members at the AFL-CIO'S Working Families Presidential Forum in Chicago.

You can watch the entire forum when it's broadcast LIVE on C-Span beginning at 8pm Eastern Time.

Over the last couple of years, e-activist like you have taken action on scores of issues from overtime pay to accountability to worker's struggles for justice in the face of employer resistance to workers who are forming their union or fighting for pay, benefits and working conditions they deserve.

Now we need to gear up for our biggest fight ever-- voting in a president who will be a champion for working families.

Tune into the forum broadcast and learn more about how these candidates will tackle working family issues.

Starting Wednesday, you'll be able to view video clips from the forum.
