Biden in Tampa (with pics)
Good evening everyone

I doubt anyone read my post from this afternoon, as I am an infrequent contributor to the boards. As promised though, I have included some pics. This was my first "real" political rally. I went and saw Kerry in 2004, but there was no room left in the auditorium so I was left outside watching him on a movie screen. I gotta say, it was really exciting with what looked like 5,000+ supporters, including a few of my Republican friends who have finally seen the light.

"

This is what we call a Republican Epic Fail.

"

Kathy Castor (D-FL 11). She was speaking as I was walking in, preventing me from getting a good shot.

"

"

"

I had to get the self-portrait in here

"

Best shirt I saw all morning

"

Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL)

"

I just thought this was pretty cool

"

The man himself

5. Nice pics!
I envy you -- I don't think we'll get Barack or Joe here in West Virginia, though Hillary will be here on Friday to stump for Robert Byrd's senior aide Anne Barth, who is running to replace our only Republican congresscritter.

6. Yikes, I lived in Tampa for 18 years and can't recognize that hill where the "protest area" is...
:D

Somewhere near USF?

7. Yeah
It's the lawn on the side of the Sun Dome. the funny thing is, apparently the McSame supporters are illiterate. The protest area was there, yet they set up approximatly 150 yards away in the middle of the parking lot. I got a sick little laugh out of that.

9. Heh, sounds about right.
I gotta get back to see some of my old friends and eat a basket of bugs at Skippers before I get too damn old to make it.

10. Not familiar with Skippers
I only go to school up here. I am trying to venture out a little more, but I only know the main roads around USF. I know a little bit of Ybor, and I know some of the area around UT. Other than that, I'm completely lost.
