Richardson gains support as convention chairman
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Gov. Bill Richardson has the backing of several Democratic presidential candidates in a bid to become chairman of the party's 2004 national convention.

Richardson said Saturday that he's received the endorsement of six candidates: former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, Missouri Rep. Dick Gephardt, Florida Sen. Bob Graham, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman and North Carolina Sen. John Edwards.

1. That's everyone running except...
Kucinich, Sharpton and Moseley-Braun. I'd say Richardson has the inside shot at convention chairman (which should guarantee him being strongly considered as VP for whomever is nominated).

3. I'm from NM, but I haven't forgotten Wen Ho Lee, a member of
A MINORITY. RICHARDSON KNEW HE WASN'T GUILTY, BUT FIRED HIM ANYWAY.

He's trying to be big on getting Hispanic voters, maybe appoint himself to replace Domenici if D's health deteriorates further. Maybe some will fall for this, but surely we could pick someone better.

You will notice that the three candidates who always stick up for the little guys and minorities aren't endorsing him.

4. Apperently voters in New Mexico feel differently than you
since they elected Richardson Governor last year.

5. I'm not a big fan of Richardson...
he strikes me as too much of a DLC type "Democrat" that has a corporate donation addiction.
