. . . then Sen. Schumer ought to run for President. He has raised 16.5 million dollars for reelection, far more than ANY Democrat running for President! That REALLY makes the nine Dems look bad! Why aren't our Dems on the trail raising more money a la Schumer?

1. Cuz he has NY power
NY and CA are the #1 money areas and no one except perhaps the Clintons has any real clout in NY, so its an untapped resource.

Edwards, Kerry, Lieberman, Dean are ALL raising money from the SAME people in Cali and New England. It makes it a lot harder to raise $$ when 6 people are hitting you up at the same time.
