Edwards' Main Street Tour Hits The Road With Family Bus Trip
To 21 Iowa Counties Aug. 13-18

Edwards is taking his wife and kids out on the campaign trail. Get ready to watch his numbers soar. His family is a great asset to him, and will get people to stop, look, and listen to what this fantastic candidate has to say.

This is brilliant.

DES MOINES, IA - North Carolina Senator John Edwards, his wife Elizabeth, and their children Cate, Jack, and Emma Claire will continue the "Main Street Tour: From Robbins to the Heartland" with a six-day, 21-county family bus trip across the state August 13-18.

"Our Main Street tour has gotten off to a great start around Iowa. I have been energized by the chance to go to the Main Streets where Iowans live and work and talk directly about my ideas and the values that are driving my campaign," Edwards said. "I know Elizabeth has enjoyed her previous visits to Iowa this year, and now we're both looking forward to bringing the whole family in August." In August, Senator Edwards Will Continue His Successful Town Hall Tour With A Bus Trip Across New Hampshire

Edwards' Town Hall Tour To Get New Wheels

MANCHESTER, NH - On the heels of two successful Town Hall meetings in Concord and Portsmouth, Sen. John Edwards (D-NC) today announced that he will take his town hall tour on the road with a bus trip across New Hampshire from August 20th - August 25th. Joined by his wife Elizabeth and children Cate, Jack, and Emma Claire, Edwards will visit with voters across New Hampshire and continue his town hall-style meetings with stops in Manchester, Salem, Dover, Keene, and Lebanon.

"I've been energized by everyone I've met in the first stops of my Town Hall Tour, and I can't wait to take it on the road - literally!" said Edwards. "New Hampshire voters know how to look a candidate in the eye, tell him what's on their mind, and make honest judgments about who he is and what he can do for the country -- and that's exactly what my Town Hall Tour is all about."

More than 200 voters turned out for each of the first two stops on Edwards' Town Hall Tour in Concord and Portsmouth this week and last. Edwards's next stops are in Nashua on Sunday July 27th and in Laconia on Monday July 28th.

1. Bob Graham will arrive first (the race is on to vacation in Iowa I guess?)
From a July 9 AP article:

"Graham said he'll step up his own effort with a weeklong family tour of the state with his children and grandchildren.

'We're going to be in Iowa from Aug. 7 to Aug. 14 with our 10 grandchildren, their parents and my wife,' Graham said.

Graham said he's rented a series of motor homes and will spend the week in virtually every corner of the state.

'We're going to invade as many communities in Iowa as we can that week," Graham said. "Be careful, you may be overwhelmed.'

Graham said his family has a tradition of all gathering for a summer vacation, and they decided to have that vacation in Iowa this year."
