1. I think this would be GD.
This is beyond the campaign.

2. One Note, Played Over and Over
Normally a subject like that would be a criticism but in this case I believe the one note Kerry mentioned here, the one panacea to all our problems is job creation.

He's smart enough to realize that job creation by itself won't fix everything, but it is the foundation to begin fixing most everything. I hope other campaigns pick up on this. Just like Bush pushed the tax cut as the end all be all of policies that was going to usher in a new golden age, I would like to see job creation trumpeted in the same way.

Overall, from my limited experience in foreign policy, I do believe this is a solid plan. It is impossible for a candidate this far out to actually create details because things on the ground can change drastically from now to election day, but the framework seems quite sound.

3. He Did A Similar Layout Before The IWR
Whatever your feelings about the actual resolution, Kerry's detailed course of action is right on the money. If you read it again, you'll think to yourself, "Goddamn, why wasn't this guy in charge?" Kerry doesn't just say Bush is wrong, he always lays out exactly - and I mean exactly - what needs to be done in a situation.
