PSR | WI: Poll Indicates Problems For (Gov.) Doyle
A new poll of likely Democratic Primary voters shows that support for Jim Doyle in the base may be in danger.

Forty percent of likely Democratic voters in the state agree with Republicans' core message on controlling property taxes, 47 percent support a constitutional cap on government spending, and 22 percent say Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle has failed on his promise not to raise taxes.

Further, 56 percent of likely Democratic voters surveyed in the recent WisPolitics/Godfrey Kahn/Capitol Consultants poll said they'd be ``most concerned about'' increases in property taxes versus other kinds of taxes.
