A sad and funny online poll...

I thought this was kind of a sad and funny little online poll of conservatives debatng who would be OUR next nominee.

http://www.conservativepulse.com/messageboards/viewtopic.php?t=711

But it raised 2 questions for me...

1. Do Republican WANT Dean to be nominated? Or just think he's the leader of the pack right now?

and...

2. Who the heck is John Donald Rigazio? Some draft candidate I've never heard of?

1. It's probably a leader-of-the-pack-right-now thing, mostly

What I found more figural and ironic, though, is that they are using phpBB, which was created on the socialist model of voluntary work and public ownership. Wouldn't you think that their principles would demand that they buy and use a for-profit, capitalist product instead?

Perhaps the only principle they really have is 'gimme'.

2. bahahah
nice... gimme - php.

i wouldn't really worry about that particular "survey" though; only 11 people voted. not exactly a diverse pool of even conservatives.

i'm wary of online polls; it ignores all the offline peeps (of which there are m-a-n-y). and attracting traffic that represents the general population is difficult, if not impossible. i mean, i don't vote in polls on repupupupublican sites... or even all liberal sites. i don't think i'm alone either.
