And then, it hit me: "Damn-Right Democrats"

So, I'm taking my daily 5-mile stroll through the desert this AM, pondering things political, when it suddenly hit me!

Damn-Right Democrats

What do you think about it as a moniker to describe our party today? For me, it does three things:

1. The "Damn" adds an edge, dispelling the jellyfish image many have of the Dem party while also harkening back to an even stronger sentiment, "Give 'em hell, Harry."

2. It usurps the "right" from "right wing" via a figure of speech common to the American vocabulary, while simultaneously benefitting Dems

3. It's soundbite-able, and "DRD" has the right kind of bounce to it, being at the same time short and direct.
