Ohioans: I'm feeling torn about Issue One

I've voting by absentee ballot and am torn on which way to vote on Issue One. On the one hand, I support government funding of "science and technology based research." But I don't want Taft decide the panel which choses who gets what. So, what have you been hearing about it? Do you know which way you're voting yet.

I'm still torn on Issue 1. I can't seem to find anything more helpful than a list of pros and cons. I wish the Ohio Dem. website would address the issue, but I haven't found any mention of it. I know that Issue 1 has been endorsed by the AFL-CIO, chamber of commerce for all the major cities, and the Fraternal Order of Police.

My only suggestion would be to call your county Dem. party and see if they have a completed sample ballot to help you. Sorry, I'm not much help, but at least your not alone being confused. ;)

I so strongly dislike Taft that if he proposed curing cancer I would be suspicious but I need to reasearch this as well.
