Kerry’s new TV ads target Bush’s policies
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry began a TV advertisement Friday aimed at presenting himself as the Democrat best able to attack President George W. Bush for abandoning the middle class.

<snip>

“Under George Bush, we have a government that works for those at the top, not you.

“He’s given the biggest tax cuts in history to the wealthy,” Kerry says, speaking into the camera from footage shot in New Hampshire.

Media consultant Jim Margolis said this is the proper time for Kerry to begin making the argument to viewers that Kerry has a history of fighting special interests and would continue doing so as president.

<snip>

Margolis said the campaign always had a strategy to reserve most of its advertising budget for the final 11 weeks leading up to the first-in-the-nation primary on Jan. 27.

“When voters see this, they see a president, they see someone who has the capacity to go toe to toe with George Bush in a way that is unsurpassed of any Democrats in this race,” Margolis said.

1. Good!

I was worried he'd put out ads focusing on Dean, instead. It's going to take alot more attacks from Kerry on Bush, instead of Dean over a good period of time, to win back my trust of Kerry, though.

3. I don't trust Dean and his supporters for attacking Kerry and others
for months. Dems who have actually ACTIVELY fought the BFEE for over a decade, and not just talked about doing it. It doesn't make sense for good Democrats to attack those who worked the hardest to expose the BFEE. Not very trustworthy.

6. Your rhetorical powers are daunting
as well as inspiring. Let's see if I can do something in the same style:

It's high time Dean got his head of his ass.

Wow! Someone call the Nobel committee -- I may be up for the writing prize. Thanks for the inspiration.

10. Five examples of how the Bush Administration has betrayed us...
1. Cronyism
Billions of dollars of "new business" for Bush campaign contributors and corporate cronies...

2. Right-Wing Extremism
Appointing extremist right-wing judges with views like this: "Conceptions from rape occur with approximately the same frequency as snowfall in Miami"....

3. Corrupting our Environment
An environmental strategy written by and for big polluters....

4. Deception
George W. Bush recently complained that the "truth just isn't getting out." Is he surprised? Suppressing the truth is his own specialty...

5. Failed Economic Plan
An economic prescription designed for the wealthy, hurts working Americans and places burden on our future...
Stop the Madness
